    Back After 7 months...

I don't deny I had a lot of anxiety in february. I was in hospital for three days, all my world was build around potential disease for weeks. But I'm not lying saying I didn't think about ALS (or any other disease ..) for months. I went to my GP for my annual blood tests (no more thyrroid...)...

    Back After 7 months...

Thanks a lot Karen. I wasn't anxious before her reaction, I really wasn't thinking about ALS when I asked her about my hand... I agree with you, GP have to protect themselves. But your answers confort me in the idea that I won't go to a neuro now. I've been there 6 months ago, it's enough...

    Back After 7 months...

Thanks a lot for for your answer. All my blood tests were good (except for vitamin D like everybody...), but I had my thyrroid removed 15 years ago so I guess my meds aren't as efficient as the natural hormons to keep a constant level. And speaking of lack of sleep I have a 2 months old baby...

    Back After 7 months...

Hello, I'm back after a few months of peace of mind. Brief summary: 7 months ago, I went to several neurologists and made different tests (EMG, MRI, evoked potentials ..) for a suspicion of multiple sclerosis. All tests were normal, but my GP was very concerned about the fasciculations. She...

    Twitching+hyperreflexia

Hello. First of all, I'm sorry because English is not my first language. I am in a situation similar to yours. For two months, I have important fasciculations, mainly in the calves but everywhere else too (thighs, abdomen, arms, feet ...) I had many appointments in neurology for other reasons...

    Fasciculations ans hyperreflexia.

Thanks a LOT for your answer! I don't know how my GP can be so vague about it. I really think she doesn't know what the results mean... And she wasn't really able to explain why she ordered the test, cause it's not relevant for a MS diagnosis. I suppose she feared something else because of my...

    Fasciculations ans hyperreflexia.

Re: Fasciculations ans hyperreflexia. Update EMG results Hello again! My concern, which was appeased, came back ... The neurologist who examined me for my fasciculations told me that the results were not worrying. Last week my GP (who had requested the test) saw the results and told me that...

    Fasciculations ans hyperreflexia.

Thanks a lot for your answers. I'm not really afraid of MS. The disease is a part of my life for so long with my family... Just one last question: Could someone tell me what fasciculations look like in ALS? Are they limited to one member? Are they incessant or can they appear and disappear...
