I just noticed the the ALS Canada note on advertising and miracle cures. How long has this been up there? I never noticed it before. I wonder if our favorite moderator... or censor (who's been nixing my off-colour posts for quite some time) have been active on our behalf.

These are good questions. Drugs are usually covered by med insurance plans... even the expensive stuff. In addition, equipment required is available through the ALS Society... your local ALS Clinic is the best source of information and will put everything in motion as your sister's...

I've just joined this forum. I was a caregiver to my ALS stricken wife who, after 4 years, faded from the fight. Now, two years later, I feel that I might be able to help out others in the same situation... in my own twisted, way!
