    clenched Jaws

Does anyone experience clenched jaws either as a symptom of the bulbar affect or as a result of taking glychopyrolate. I had a case of a frog in my thoaat and my hospice doctor recommended taking glychpypyrolate to help dissolve it. My jaws are now clenched shut. And ideas if the jaw...

    That Damned Frog

I have another frog in my throat, right below the Adam's apple. I can't cough so it is difficult to dislodge. I had one in the middle of the night last night, but it finally went away this morning -- did I swallow it? Now I have another one in the same place. The suction machine wand doesn't...

    Hallucinations

I experienced hallucinations when I was put on the Scopolamine patch. The pharmacist said it it is a common side effect in older patients. I immediately removed it and now control it with pineapple juice and suction. Hallucinations are not fun. Bill

    Medical Grade Sheepskin

I ordered a sheepskin a few weeks ago. It arrived but I didn't notice any smell. I, too, have real problems with odors, so Larry washed it just to make sure. I used it for a week, but it didn't help my butt. Our dogs thought it was a treat and started chewing it, so we had to keep them away...

why does he sleep so much..

I have bulbar onset and a tube. All my feedings and medications are by tube. I find I am sleeping more now. Could just be the short days and gloomy weather, but I suspect it is the ALS. If you dad is in Northern Europe it could be weather-related. Just a thought. Bill
