Thank God for the advances that have been made in helping diagnose this disease. Getting the cost of genetic testing down to a more reasonable level is a great step forward. Perhaps in a few years it will be much easier to get a firm diagnosis and, hope of all hopes, a treatment.

Thanks Nikki. I went today to have blood drawn and see that it is going to a lab in Atlanta (MNG). They are going to do a sequencing panel for 23 genes so I guess I have some homework to do! No family secrets after all that is analysed. ;-) It is supposed to take at least 8 weeks so I'll wait...
