    Yawning!

    I have jaw chatter going on now! And living in the artic Wisconsin, this otta be a fun winter!:shock: My Doc does the same thing with me and my clonus in my jaw! He was amazed by it! Had people come in just to watch it! Lol. It's better now with baclofen, but still there!

    Things we love doing and can't do anymore

    Walking. I used to walk 3 miles a day with my iPod getting lost in my music. Now walking to the bathroom and back gets me just as tired

    Gerd?

    Is getting GERD normal with ALS? I've felt terrible the past few days!Upset stomach. Sore throat. Just downright crappy! Went to doc, thought it was strep. Negative. Wrote me a Script for GERD. This SUCKS! Anyone got any tips for me?:-|

    As of Tuesday

    Hi, Thought I posted a update. Sorry bout that. Things are going pretty well! Went to my first multi clinic on the 8th. Everything looks good so far. My FRS score is 36 and my FVC was 95%. So they don't need to see me for 14 weeks now unless of course something comes up that I need to see them...

    Trickett's TV debut :-)

    This is from a local tv station where I live. When I was diagnosed, Brad Hicks reached out to me on Facebook. He does a lot for ALS awareness in our area. He's a wonderful ambassador for the disease. Does anyone know if Tricketts from Wisconsin?

    My first clinic visit

    So today will be my first visit to the ALS clinic since being diagnosed. I'm just kind of wondering what to expect? Will they do tests over like a EMG? Will they do new tests? And also what types of questions should I ask that you guys feel are important but people may not think to ask of forget...

    Thanks all! Jo123, I'm wondering if your PALS has been to Froedtert Hospital? If so, how was the experience the first time? That's where I'm going on the 16th and just wondering what to expect.
