So scared again! Does this look like bulbar (video)

Manyquestions - My tongue twitches, quivers, and moves like crazy on its own when it's resting in my mouth. It's completely normal and doesn't mean you have ALS.

    Is there anyone like me

Hi Monster, I have been hyperreflexic for years. My doctor found my brisk reflexes quite a while ago during a regular health checkup. I kicked like a mule when he tapped my knees. He said it was "concerning" but left it at that. I never thought anything about it, just figured my reflexes were...

    Someone please respond!

Hi MLP, I don't have ALS, but I did visit an ALS clinic after being sent there for symptoms and have learned a bit about it. I can tell you that after 5 years of symptoms, you probably do not have ALS. By now you would be quite disabled if you did have a motor neuron disease. Body twitches...

    Pain

I'm not sure why you would think your sore muscles are caused from ALS. I don't think that sore muscles alone equal ALS. That's like having headaches and believing you have brain cancer. Your doctor probably doesn't think you need an emg because you don't need one. BFS can cause muscle fatigue...

I DEFINITELY have atrophy/fasciculationss and had MRI - advice needed please

Why do you think you have atrophy? Did your doctor say he saw atrophy or are you just noticing the atrophy? What does your wasting look like? What do your fasciculations look and feel like, and when do you notice them? Diagnosing neurological conditions can take months, and sometimes years...

    Tongue fasciculations

I'm sorry you're having problems. I've been having tongue fasciculations since about June. Some days they go on and on. I also have twitching in the legs, stomach, back, etc, but mostly the arms. I have muscle fatigue, cramps, and spasms. I do not have ALS. Are you choking on liquids and...

    Is this tongue atrophy?

I don't see any differences between the left and right, except at the tip but that is normal. When I look at your top front teeth, I see a chip or piece on the tooth on the left that is missing. Your tongue probably sits in that groove which has caused the minor misshape at the tip.
