My husband lost his battle...
Good evening all... My wonderful husband lost his battle with ALS on July 2 - our 25th wedding anniversary. He was only 47 yrs old and he fought till he just couldn't do it anymore. It was so quick, but at least it was peaceful, and he wasn't in any pain. He got his wish to die at home with us...- beaner1

Breathing and Morphine Pump
Good morning all. I have a question about breathing, and hope someone could answer it for me. My hubby has been hospitalized for two months now - palliative care unit. Yesterday he was put on a morphine pump for his breathing - he says it helps. How can that be? Doesn't morphine slow down...- beaner1

Hubby's had a BIG set back

Neck Support
Hi all, I was wondering if the experts out there could advise me on a piece of equipment (or whatever!) that would help with supporting my husband's neck when he is trying to sit up - i.e. in his wheelchair. He's fine while in his special recliner, but when he has to sit in his wheelchair...- beaner1
