    My father chose to have no artificial means of survival. He was 80 when diagnosed. When the time came he could not swallow, Hospice kept him comfortable. He had a very peaceful ending.

    Mom passed on, and is free!

    My dad who had ALS died September 4, 2013. It was bittersweet for me as he could not move or talk at the end. My mom, brother, and I have no regrets. We gave him 110% and spent a lot of time with him. He is with the Lord now and is free, free of his diseased body that made him a prisoner...
