My daddy went to a sleep study to get an BiPaP machine, we were so excited that he would be able to get some sleep laying down. Well now they aren't going to give it to him because they say his lungs can't handle the pressure. Has anyone heard of this before? And I sure could use some advice on...

:confused: I am soooooooo aggravated.. I have been trying to get Daddy an appointment for a sleep study so he can get bipap, this has been going on for almost three weeks now, is it so much to ask for a doctor to fax orders for a test? I bet if it was their daddy that can't sleep laying down...

I would like to know where to get one of these for my daddy, i told him about it and he says he will try anything.....We don't have a ALS clinic anywhere near us...And also the umm "Lady" he is seeing wants him to have the stem cell thingy..does anyone know if they have worked in any way

I have learned so much on here, like bipap machiness can help my dad a great deal conserding he can't sleep in bed cause if he lies flat he can't breathe, If he talks to much he can't catch his breath. I have talked to him till i am blue in the face and it doesn;t seen to help...He always has...
