Just to add, also, how frequent are als fasics normally? I'm worried mine are happening when I am not looking, or in an area of my calf I haven't looked at.

Also, to point out I have normal leg and arm reflexes but haven't been tested for babinski.

As many people will know by my posts, I have been anxious of als for months, and I have some still unanswered questions to ask. 1. I have noticd about 3 fasics in my calf over almost 2 months. Is this notconsistent with even early als? Also, between this I have had body twitching (not fasics)...

I have noticed that when I attempt to walkon my tip toes or flex my foot that has possinle atrophy in this manner, I get a sharp stitch like pain along the bottom of my foot. Is this muscle cramp or the start of weakness?, or anything als symptom sounding?

Isn't it true that fasciculations can sometimes proceed weakness though?

I might add I have flicked/slapped my calf several times before and since and not triggered the twitches. Are als twitches always triggered and not trig gered at random times?

Basically what i'm saying is would an ALS dent only be present when the muscle is flexed/contracted? Or even when its relaxed?
