    Sorry to confuse Simvastatin (anti cholesterol) and Omeprazol (proton pump inhibitor). I came off the Simvastatin because suggested by GP to come off it for a week to 10 days to see if it made any difference. It did not so at lalest visit GP said stary taking it again, GP has ruled out...

    Sounds really crapy Notme. I thought Health Service in UK was poor, but your situation shows up value of our National Health Service, where you would at least receive some treatment irrespective of private health insurance. Though I suspect that accident insurance in UK would not pay up either...
