One might say the same thing about using a BiPAP, which is another FDA approved device used to improve respiratory function in PALS. But what they do with that, is adjust the data taking that into account. They would be doing the same thing with diaphragm pacer.
Even, if I play devils advocate...
I've been on the Dexpramipexole study for about 4 months now. Based on my comparisons at PLM, I'm fairly certain that I'm on the placebo, but of course that's only a guess.
Because my breathing is labored at night, I've been prescribed with a BiPAP. I'm also in contact with clinic in Cleveland...
Vertigo? That doesn't sound good. You be careful.
I'm doing well; I had a few falls in October, but nothing serious beyond a busted lip. I've learned to slow down, and that's been helping.
How are you? Hope you have a good Thanksgiving!!
hey, doing well. sorry i haven't checked in this forum for awhile. the storm passed us by entirely.
had my second clinic, everything's good. still weak in my arms, but that's about it for now. knock on wood... how are you doing?

I just read about your landlord. That is illegal under the ADA -- you should seek legal advice immediately. And keep records of all contact, and any witnesses. Sorry about your troubles.
Dasher looks great; I think I'll use that, because I won't need to retrain myself after I lose my voice. I know there's retina tracking software out there too; I saw a demo by the university of Baltimore. Not sure if it's open source; I'll see if I can dabble and recruit some programming...
Hi, Marta,
Sorry I haven't logged on in awhile. My computer was on the fritz the last couple of weeks, was using a loaner. Now my damn right hand won't type anymore; I'm having to use my left hand exclusively.
How are you holding up? I start the dex study today, and am excited about that...
Marta,
I'm doing well, though progressively weaker in my arms; it's difficult to type any more. We're looking to buy a ranch house, rather than the old two-story on a steep hill we currently live in.
I hope you're well!
Aaron
