    My brother-in-law may have ALS.

My husband was diagnosed almost 18 years ago with ALS. His progression has been very slow but was too fast in the beginning for PLS. Also he had a muscle biopsy that showed muscle breakdown. It is my brother-in-law now who has been diagnosed with a motor Neuron problem probably ALS. He is not...

    Broken hearted

You are definitely allowed one and even others as this goes on. You have an awful lot of losses in a short period of time. May I suggest that your pity party may not have been that at all. Maybe it was just a day to grieve. My husband's illness has progressed slowly, so we have had lots of...

    Driver's License? Ins? Loan?

I think it depends on the insurance company. Some of them have listed Rick as excluded and some have just not put him on the policy. Katie has a point. If he doesn't have a license I don't know why he would need to be excluded. I have a really good rate, and I am the only driver on my policy. I...

    I feel like a traitor!

Ruth, I am so sorry.I too feel sometimes like I am talking behind my husband's back on here. On the other hand we do need each others support. When we vent on here, sometimes we can go back and do better what we need to do. As for your hubby problems. Sorry but I don't have any advise. Rick and...

    My husband passed

There are no words. I am just so sorry and yet so grateful. I am grateful that you know where he is and that all that ALS took from him is now given back to him with so much more added to it.
