    Atrophy with pain or stiffness?

    Hello, Am curious if muscle atrophy is associated with either pain or stiffness while atrophying? Or do the muscles simply atrophy only for one to notice weakness thereafter? More plainly, can atrophying muscles mimic pulled muscles or muscle pain/tightness? Thank you. Robert
