    Hand Swelling

A search for swelling turns up few threads. A couple of posts suggest swelling of hands is not common in PALS. There is significant swelling in my deteriorated hand and some in my better hand also. Do others have this problem? Should I be exercising my hand regularly? Thanks for any...

    Micro Joystick

If I want a micro joystick on my wheelchair it will add about five thousand (which insurance won't pay for) to the cost of my wheelchair. Point of depression

I think I have reached the point of progression where I am chronically depressed. My legs are useless and I can't raise my right arm very high. I need help getting in and out of bed and off the toilet, and need bathing assistance. I can't turn in bed without the hospital bed rails which means...

    Social Security Disability Process

I'm frustrated with the local Social Security Office. I applied for disability mid-September after stopping work in August. I'm eligible for disability and Medicare Feb 1st, but I have not been formally approved. Have others experienced this delay? I am not able to apply for Medicare...
