    To tube, or not to tube (feeding tube pros and cons)

    fedding tube I had my tupe put in a couple mo. now at first I didnt want it but since I have it now I wouldnt be without it. It really helps I use it when I want . The surgery is not that bad. You just have to take it easy for about a week. Davis06:)

    bulbar als Al I have bulbar als and my breathing sounds just like yours, bipap I youse just like you said. I was wondering did you start of with breathing problems, and can you still swallow good. I still swallow good but they want me the doctor at the clinic to get a peg. Thanks, Davis

    NEW member, not new to disease.

    bulbar als I have bulbar als to and was wondering how long did your mom live. Also how for the als progressed on her. Right now I have just lost my speech and breathing is bad I am on bipap machine at night. I am from Ga. usa. Thanks for any help. T. Davis

    curious about what to expect in the future

    hello Holly I also have bulbar als and was in car accident which resulted in shoulder surgery in dec. 2004 in June 2005 I started getting the slurred speech. Was dig with als in april 2006. Now have the breathing problems and about have lost my voice. Good luck Daviso6
