Hey mate, same things going on except I have tingling feeling on my tounge and the fasciculations happening 70% on my right arm. I feel the atrophy on my right hand progressed and my right arm and hand weaker. I can do most of the staff but it gets weak toooo early and it hurts as well. Waiting for the EMG on 20 march. Btw all blood work came back very normal.

Also my have the shooting/stabbing pain on my right hand/arm and recently sometimes on the left hand as well. I don’t know what’s going on, it sounds like als to me but trying be sane and keep my hope on the other way.

Similar weird sh*t with me. Bloodwork normal also. Tingling, like drank too hot, tongue also. My left side is affected. Left foot, 4. and 5. toe are dead and 4. and 5. fingers also have this strange feeling. Also pink finger pointing apart from my other fingers.

I mean left foot is not dead, but the two smallest toes of it. But left foot feels _very_ weak when walking. It feels like Ive done 50 one foot squats and leg presses with it.

My legs twitching less, small ones one lower parts but if I walk more than 15 mins 3. And 4. Toes on left and some on right getting numb. Also my left to is tingling with a little pressure. Last night I had biceps and shoulder twitching so hard first time and it scared me hell out. I’m trying to schedule my EMG earlier but I’m lost already.

Btw I just saw it from your post that I have postnasal drip for 1.5 months and sometimes I have problem with drinking water and for a couple times I’m waking up with coughing at night that something bothers my throat like you failed to drink water.

I had "anniversary" day of my twitching yesterday. First twitching muscle was my right thumb exact year ago. I can still squeeze tennis ball flat, hold 60kg dumpbell with it.

So I believe that means it is not als. To be honest, Ive tracked hundreds of peoples messages in this forum with same symptoms as me and you, and no one is diagnosed ever with ALS. But something it is.

Because in als the twitching is usually sign of dying nerves, and other nerves trying to compensate the dying nerves. Thumb muscle is so small that I would believe it to be dead sooner than year, if it would be the first muscle to start twitching.

My thumb muscle, thenar muscle atrophied, it’s aches when I hold something in my hand with my index finger as well, so far no failure but it has small twitches and yesterday also twitched when I was holding a spoon.

My first recognisable symptom was calf twitching but after one week I felt my thumb stiff and that’s when I realised the atrophy as well. Now my whole arm stiff and twitches and tremors as well. I don’t know what to do, what’s happening but there is something bad happening, I know.

Hey there, sorry to hear that, I’m still waiting, it will take place next Monday, fingers crossed. But recently I just developed tongue twitching which is pretty recognisable. It’s bottom of my tongue and chin muscles and sometimes my lips as well. I don’t know if ALS spreads this fast like in 2 months cramping, weakness and twitching all over.
