  • Hi McBee, I hope you're well. I just wanted to second the advice to seek evaluation for a connective tissue disorder e.g. Ehlers Danlos. EDS sufferers present with many of your symptoms and can often have abnormal EMGs too. With your hypermobility, it is a real possibility and obviously far preferable to ALS. Gd luck!
    Hi McBee

I have symptoms very similar to yourself. Did you ever get any sort of diagnosis ?

Hi - I have not received any diagnosis any different that what I was originally told - essential tremors and some hypermobility. It has been 15 months and generally speaking my symptoms that remain are more severe tremors (now in both hands - specifically fingers), and feeling of weakness in my hands. I wake up a lot of mornings with all-over muscle aching. I worry 24/7. I wish you good health!

I was also told I have BFS - benign fasciculation syndrome - which is “you’re twitching, but we don’t know the cause.” Mostly that has stopped, but how everything began.
