Thanks, much better. It's been almost a year and for sure nothing has really gotten worse than it was, so that's a good sign. My twitching subsided largely, I still get an occasional twitch here and there, some days even bit persistent, but nothing compared to what I used to have. Strength-wise I have ups and downs. I do feel improvement in my strength in legs and arms, but not everywhere.

Thanks for replying! I currently have widespread twitching, jerking and trembling every time I contract a muscle. My thighs are always weak and kind of sore too. I’ve convinced myself I have ALS but the people here say my symptoms sound nothing like ALS because I have no clinical weakness... Seeing a neuro in three weeks and feeling doomed.

They were right in my case, so that should be good news. I can't tell you not to worry, because we know it doesn't work like that. I myself ended up on anti-anxiety meds and in therapy. When going through this whole ordeal, I though to myself that even if I am terminally ill, wasting my precious days on sulking is the worst way of spending time. Try talking to a professional about your anxiety, it sure helped me.

Did you actually figure out what you had? Do you still shake and twitch? Our symptoms are similar.

Nope. Nothing obvious at least. I had D3 deficiency and thyroid disorder - these were only concrete things. I still shake and twitch occasionally, but it went from 200 times a day to couple of times - I can also go days without any twitch now. I shake a lot less then before, so that improved dramatically.

You used to shake when using any muscle too right?
