Hello Bronco. If there was ALS, the EMG would show it six months or more prior to any symptoms becoming apparent. I think you're clear and shouldn't worry about ALS. Your primary care doctor can order tests to look for the cause of your problems, which could be as simple as a temporary vitamin deficiency. See your PCP, not a neuro, because the PCP can point you in the direction of the proper specialty if you need one.
