  • Hey Tillie.
Hope you are ok. Very busy with your book at the moment? Very exciting!
I hope that the weather is being kind. Was hot here today! 25!
Take care, you are thought of often.
    God bless, Janelle x
Thank you! Sorry for my bad English. I can't express my feelings in the right way on an other language and I can't communicate like all of you. But I'm sure that you can understand the meaning of my thoughts..

I pray for all of you with this unexpected situation in life! Always be strong and never forget the people around you that they love you!
    My greetings from Greece!!!
    Hi Tillie,
How are you doing? I had a nice visit with my dad a few weeks ago in Dallas. When I first saw him I have to admit I was pretty shocked but then I quickly adjusted to it. He is getting weaker especially in his limbs and tires easily. But, he is still able to breath, eat, and talk pretty good yet. He is in good spirits. We went out to eat a few times and took him to a movie. Then one day he came over to my brother's for dinner and we sat outside by their pool and visited. I joined a on-line anxiety/depression site and also a on-line site for people who are divorced/separated. I get alot of support from them. If don't friend too many of them and if they seem dangerous or really weird I immediately block them so they can see any of my posts or anything about me. Hope you are doing ok. Hugs, Kim
Hi Tillie, I must admit I would love a tree, but I do believe they are a true inspiration for the unfortunate terminal friends we have....so I will let them at it...

Sorry, I had not realized that there are two roll calls....I like Jenny in France find the forums confusing...keep correcting me and I will get it eventually....

Hi, I have actually posted quite a few messages on the forums and did introduce myself when I joined a couple of years ago. I must admit I find the forum confusing to navigate. I have Bulbar onset ALS and I live in the beautiful Dordogne, France. I can still speak and be understood (just about) and can only eat certain foods now. My breathing is starting to be affected and I have been offered to go on a trial for a DPS in Paris (Respistim). I was wondering if there were any members who have been fitted with this device as I would like to know everything about it before I make a definite decision. Well, that's all there is to tell about me really. I want to be around as long as I can so I can see my gorgeous grandsons grow up so I scan the internet for ways I can help myself. I have been accused on this forum of being a robot because I don't engage with people I suppose. This is probably a British trait of mine (being reserved)!
Katrina, I have been reading about Penelope and her dear dad. I am in awe of you...you have been through so much heartache, your compassion shines through with each post. I am so thankful you are committed to sharing this terrible journey with so many.
    God bless, Janelle x
PS we haven't been on Facebook to find you yet...but we will!
Hey girl, I see you are on-line. Question: It's about 5:30 in the afternoon here in Eastern USA -
What does your clock say waaaaay down there? Just curious... ciao.
Tillie, I was thinking of you today, I know that April is a tough month for us. Tony passed away a year yesterday, miss him, know that someone else is feeling what your feeling right now.
Hi Tillie. Thanks for message. I've been having a wobble (probably because it's Easter, mum's birthday later this month and on the UK forum a man I was in touch with died on Monday and a friend's husband isn't expected to last much longer - she also posts on this forum.) I don't know whether passing the one year for everything will make it easier to cope. Hope you're OK. I'll keep popping on here occasionally and hope with time I can support others. We've been fundraising and so far have raised £2k. More planned. At least this way I feel like I'm doing something. Xx
Hey Tillie - I hope you are well. I am dealing with some issues. Saw an ALS specialist in beginning of March. He didn't think it was ALS and I was very happy. Since then, my issues have moved bilateral to my right arm. Tried calling/emailing my doc to see what he thought, but he said he'd answer ?'s at my follow up on June 30. Any tips while I wait? Haha.
    Hi Tillie,
Have you spotted Kim and Skipper anymore lately or did they move on? Also, I was wondering if you see alot of snakes there or not? Kim
Hi there Tillie. I did reply earlier but as usual my bad hand hit the wrong button...someone in darkest Peru will get a message and wonder who the heck green queen is! Oh well. Thanks for sharing. My friend cornelia travels to QLD once a year, will have to check who she visits. My husband Wayne Stuart is on FB, so however we find you it will be via him. He's on it to stay in touch with a mate in the UK, so it's not used a lot but at least we have access! Not the total dark ages! Have a blessed Easter, thanks again. Janelle x
Hey Tillie. Felt this not necessarily a good post for all...are you able to share which Neuro you and your beloved dealt with? I am seeing John Pollard on Tuesday, and I worry about the eggs in one basket thing...what if it's no different? Your strength at continuing to encourage and support truly inspires me. I'm only in the beginning stages and the stress and sadness at it all is very difficult to handle at times. I will let you know the outcome of my appointment. Until then, God bless,
    Janelle x
