I empathize with your fears - I too am partially disabled and have not worked for 10 years but never collected any gov't money. My husband was diagnosed in March and what is the single most terrifying thing to me is HOW am I going to care for him properly. He is 77 and I'm 64 and have no children.
I know we will work this out, somehow, because we have to AND there are many resources, so I'm told. I believe we will find a way and I will keep you in my heart. Please keep me in yours.
