Miss Chrissy, I know you didn't ask about speech devices but since you mentioned that she has speech problems I thought I'd throw this out for you. There are apps available for iPads and smart phones called type to speech that will allow her to type what she wants to say and then it will say it or she can just let you read it. They can be programmed with common phrases so all she has to do is select the one she wants and it talks. Really helps for clarification. I use expressive assist but a speech therapist should have several that she can try and then pick the one she likes best. Prices vary from free to rather expensive
