So sorry to hear about your father. I am so glad you are reaching out for advice. We have a wonderful support group in Tulsa and a great system to get you the help you all will need. There is an amazing speech patholigist hat is very involed with the ALS community aroun the area. Does your dad go to a clinic in Oklahoma City, or Kansas City? I would so enjoy getting you in touch with people to help answer your ?s. there is also a group called ALS Patient Outreach, or APSO that can be a help.
