I got diagnosed the day before this Thanksgiving. I'd noticed that I was getting weaker and also fell many times. After MRI and two lengthy EMG's, my neurologist diagnosed me with ALS. I'm going to have a second opinion but have to wait until February. I'm getting much weaker, having to use a cane and a walker. I even yesterday ordered an electric recliner. It seems to be progressing so quickly. Is this normal?
