I tried to write under your thread but it is closed. My brother has als and yesterday his doctor gave him ketamine and he had wonderful symptom relief - his faciliatations (sp?) stopped completely for 15 minutes and the pain he has had in his legs for over a month went away. Today it is back but not nearly as bad. He is going to have it every 2 weeks.
