How is life treating you in the land of Oz today. I am missing my dad who is in Dallas, Texas waiting to see a ALS specialist. He usually lives in our town less then a 1/2 mile away. I'm pretty used to seeing him everyday so this is hard on me and our kids. He's a big part of our lifes. Do you have any children? Have you participated in any clinical trial or used the drug Ritulek? Will be keeping you and the other PALS in my prayers. Kim

Hey girl, I'm OK. Just having some sleepless nights adjusting to the new bed and problems with the urge incontinence. I'm so tired of the frequent trips to the bathroom. Our recent losses on the forums have taken their toll as well. I'm still reading, just don't have the heart right now to do much posting. Take care sweetie. You're in my thoughts and prayers too.

Me again. I just realized that you left the last 4 or 5 messages on my visitors page. You are definitely my most faithful friend. Thanks for keeping up with me even though i've been not so responsive. Thanks for your understanding.

tot, I checked on fb and poet is been on there, not doing well from the way his posts sound. the abdominal pain was a hernia and maybe cancer (or prehaps) a nodule in a lung. not sure but wanted to let u know. hope u r doing well, hugs, mp

I am on the placebo instead of Dex. But at least the drug trial has decided to keep me in their program because can no longer fly to fresno...instead a home health nurse will come to me each month, Hopefully when the trial is done I will then get the real Dex. Pray that my hands and arms do not progress until then!

Thank you. I just always feel weird posting things because Im not a PALS (as of yet). I have the utmost respect and dont want anyone to not like me being here. I am just a mess without TR cry cry cry :'( - so silly I know

I'm glad you saw it. I read the thread about where are folks (Al and Christopher) and thought you didn't know. I hate when I miss the posts about someone's death, and sometimes I do for a few days. Lori is very good about sending me a message because she knows that, somehow, I don't see them sometimes - especially when real names are used, and I've never seen them before!

You must have missed the post from David. Al died early this morning.

Hi Kimberly ~ you are right, it is low humidity in the Pacific NW and I like it that way. But it sometimes gets up to 90* and I hate it when it does...I like cool weather! I am doing ok, but I cant eat much these days so am Relying on the peg. My speech is not understandable, so I am using an Ipad with "assistive chat" app. It is so simple just type ( with word prediction) and it speaks for you. How are you doing?
