Hello. My name is Carrie from the Boston area. My husband was diagnosed in July 2011. I am here to share, gain support, and find fellow caregivers who are at the stage we are living with. My husband first experience muscle weakness when he was on a statin drug for cholesterol. His doctor took him off it and told him it would go away in 3 months. Well, it did not. In February 2011, he was renovating high rise condos in Boston. Now, he uses a walker and he is now losing his ability to speak. So much has happened so fast. So, I am here to get support and seek support. Our local MDA postponed support group meetings. I look forward to being part of a wonderful group!
