Cross country running.
I never practiced it but find it great since I read the loneliness of the long distance runner.

I ran cross country...in my younger days! I was one of the last ones finishing the races, so I truly lived the loneliness of cross country. Great sport once you get going, but pretty grueling when you have not reached your runner's high.
