It doesn't provide "smart" function, but we've been using a nursery monitor with good results. The nursery end is in my room and my CALS can easily hear me, and speak to me if desired. She can also carry the other unit with her if she will be in the garage, for example.

Cathy, I can see how that would be, especially on carpet (which mine is). With my weight on it, it doesn't turn easily but I still have enough core strength to be able to help turn. (Think of doing the Twist.) :)

I'm still able to stand from my PWC, and with assistance from the lift chair, but we were having problems transferring because the toes of my feet or slippers would get caught as I tried to pivot. We got a transfer disk, and it has helped. It is 15" in diameter, and like a flat lazy susan. I...
