    One more thing....bobbling head

    I started bobbing about 1 month ago. I've had a weak neck for about 1 1/2 years. I wear a brace that goes around my forehead. I'm sure it has an official name, but we call it a halo. I've earned mine early :) Anyway I can feel my head doing these little bobs back and forth.

    My husband and I talk quite openly about all manner of things for the here and now and for after I'm gone. I've written many instructions for him and have also written the obituary. No subject is off the table and we're both pretty practical; not given to emotional inhibitions, so no worry...

    handfree drinking help!

    I use a thing called the Drink-Aid. It has worked well for me. It was designed to attach to a PWC. There may be a way to rig it up for use in your recliner. Just g o o g l e it. It's cheaper if you buy it directly from the manufacturer rather than Patterson Medical.

    What to say or do with someone who can't talk or move

    Try doing the range of motion exercises with him. You'd be surprised at what good the feeling of human contact can do.
