Hi! Are his legs pretty weak? If so, what I did when my legs were getting bad is call my Physical Therapist, or you can make an appointment with his neurologist. They'll set up an appointment with a trusted wheelchair company rep who will measure him, the doc or PT will test muscle strength. They'll ask a bunch of questions and fill out a bunch of paperwork. If you go to his PT he'll still need an assessment and prescription from his neurologist for the chair. The wheelchair company will submit all the paperwork to Medicare and insurance company. It didn't take long for me to receive the chair. Let me know if I can help!
