We are going to see about speech aids this week. Is your father getting good medical attention? Sound like he needs to see a speech therapist and talk about feeding tube and speech aids. Do you like close to your dad? Does he live alone? So sorry this is happening. Love and prayers for you both, let me know how things are going.Hi Victoria, I know how hard this is to see someone you love have this disease. One thing you will learn is that everyone is different in their progression. My husband has had twitches in his legs for several years and was told it was benign. His first symptom was slurred speech which started about a year ago, he is now what sound like your dad is. There are several people here that have said they went for a year or may two before they began loosing their arms or legs. How is your dad accepting this. Hang in there..I know it is hard. -
