Steal away!!! You may want to take along the neck brace, Tom said he would have enjoyed much more if he wasn't in pain trying to hold his head up.
This was such a fun and family bonding time we would all do it again in a heart beat.

Thats great Melody..I like to hear good news. I hope its not ALS as well. I would settle for a slow down myself but I have to be a little thankful that I get better and then get worse and then better again which is not too bad. Its wierd knowing its not ALS but this is progressing faster than typical ALS. I have denervation in all four limbs and cranial involvement. I am just thankful that the cranial stuff is just my speech right now and has progressed slowly in 6 months from the first slurring. I started the glutathione yesterday and it almost killed me they said they have never seen that reaction before. Instantly my reflexes went from 3 to 3++ in 2 hours. wierd stuff..I'm bedbound today but he said he expects it.

Thank you Melody - no such luck about a different dx - I got him in with the the neuro team at Methodist Hosp in Houston. After 2 days of extensive testing they confirmed ALS. He's an actor at heart who couldn't make a living acting and ended up on the radio for work and doing community theater for fun. Right now it's extremities - legs and now left arm and hand - just starting to affect the right arm and hand now - plus his breathing is very shallow now, and he is clearing his throat a lot - not sure what that means yet - but I doubt it's anything good.
