I actually don’t feel short of breath weirdly , feels like my muscles not complying or message not being sent , I dunno if anxiety can do that ? My pfts I did were lower than normal when I did them after begging the neuro , but she tested for pompe disease which was negative and moved on...

    Hello old friends

Thank you for your reply , yes I acknowledged my post years ago , not currently working with doctor , that whole ordeal 5 years ago was very overwhelming ( there’s also a note on my file that says I’m a hypochondriac or something so I’m dismissed very early ) and to be honest , I read the advice...

I posted here 5 years ago very dramatically and was very worried about ALS , the thought and symptoms never left . I am here today to ask...

    may die without diagnosis

A diagnosis would help because at least I'd have some help especially with my breathing, I mean there is a way to help people with als that is different than someone with copd, there is a different procedure, when u need assistance from a doctor if you have als there are different procedures...

    may die without diagnosis

No I have not been diagnosed with anything, I have not been lucky enough to see a competent doctor who is knowledgeable with things like this, probably my fault I have millions of questions when I go in probably because all this hit so fast all at once so they dismiss my concerns and are quick...

Nothing wrong with doctor shopping, when a doctor tells you, if you can walk on your heals and toes you don't have als, I mean why wouldn't I

    may die without diagnosis

What I've been trying to explain is that doctors are not giving me the time of day, I'm being prescribed ativans and such. Hyperreflexes measures by doctor yes, atrophy no haven't got time to spend with a neuro . This is progressing soooooo fast its unreal so that fuels the doctors to describe...

I appreciate your opinion but how can a doctor tell I have no weakness, he just met me that day, he doesn't know how strong I was 2 weeks ago, I know I was definetly stronger, dying tonight because my breathing is extremely labored when I cough I feel like it's not getting stuff from my lung...
