You say you came down with a virus, that is critical I formation for your neurologist to know, ask about Guiilian Barr virus and get tests for it if possible.

That's the problem, one of the ten has mentioned ALS, and a second one has mentioned PLS as a solid differential diagnosis, I know I dont have ALS (unless I am the slowest patient in history) but there seems to be a huge gap between having ALS and pretty much anything else... I wish I could get...

Foot drop wtih numbness and tingling sounds like MS, not ALS, especially if the footdrop is intermittent. have you had a brain MRI?
