Regarding your posting blog entries or posting new comment threads to the forum, the options appear as your participation reaches certain point I think. But, you can always select a similar thread that is going on and ask your question there - these folks are really neat and offer any guidance they can to everyone. That's what I did at first and as I participated in the forum, options appeared available on my pages. I'm sorry that you had to find the forums - but glad that you did find us. My dad is coughing all the time.. not getting any rest... I've tried peppermint oil.. that worked good for a while... now no so much... any suggestions.. you can hear the loose mucus.. not much comes up.. I asked him if his throat was itchy causing the cough... he stated it was a little itchy... but not too much.. I use the humidifier all the time as well...

Hello.. well seems we have my dad's constipation under control.. now he has thick mucus... I think I asked about this but am still new on this site.. don't know how to search it very well... any advice on how to thin his mucus so he has a more productive cough... also tips on his labored breathing ... its unbelieveable how much that has to be done to get him bipap machine.. meanwhile he struggles to breath at times.
