Hello.. Doing well.. Still alive! My progression continues to be pretty slow. Just went skiing with the ALS Association here in Oregon.. As awesome.. They got 9 of us out on "sit skis".. There were a couple other people in their 30s & 40s who had skied before, but there were some who had never even been skiing including my friend Ed who just celebrated his 80th birthday & has been living with ALS for about 15 years.

How are things going with your family?? I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you. Just now (when I went to your profile page) I noticed your birthday, you're only a couple of months older than my eldest son Happy upcoming birthday.

You're welcome. I hope your family is able to strike a balance that is good (as is possible) for everyone. Your situation is not something anyone could have anticipated or planned for, and as your mom sounds like she has progressed quickly, its giving all of you even less time to find what works. This forum is certainly a place where you can come, and find those who understand.
