I have not been diagnosed but waiting on my appointment date with a new neurologist at MUSC or Emory. I have been on oxygen since March 2017 and continue to have muscle weakness around my diaphragm and over the past year I have days where my feet feel asleep, my left leg is weak and recently my tongue feels weak when I eat. Everything seems worse when I am tired or have done a lot of talking or walking. My pulmonary doctor has ruled out any lunch issue and feels like it is either ALS or Myasthenia Gravis. I trust in God’s plan for my life but I would like a diagnosis so I can be prepared and research what I need to instead of fearing the worst.
