I am new and like many newbies have some symptoms that are worrisome, but no diagnosis for als "at this point in time", as my neuro said. My primary question is about muscle spasms. My symptoms of dropping things, tripping, foot cramping and hand weakness started six months ago. My neuro said I have some ulnar (elbow) nerve path and muscle loss in both hands in area adjacent to thumb and between thumbs and index finger. He want to see me in two months, but at this point in time, no dx of als. Fasics are rare, lower left leg, and brief. Muscle cramps are in both legs, esp. the thigh area, and can cause bruising they get so severe. Anyone find that to be a possibility with ALS?
