  • I was on this forum previously. My progression has continued rapidly. Now full blown bulbar. Swallowing, front of neck feels like someone is choking me, copious constant throat mucous. And overall weakness and stiffness of arms and legs remain evolving See one of my neuromuscular drs the middle of the month. I am beyond frustrated and angry. I know this is umn dom. Emgs ok. Sorry to ramble but looking for advise.
Possible ALS diagnosis now by neuromuscular Dr. Started year and a half ago with left leg now to right leg cramping , twitching muscles, tight painful muscles. All mimics ruled out by way of every scan ,blood test, muscle biopsy. Have had 3 emg's. Hyperreflexia, positive bilateral Hoffman's, painful tight muscles, cramping, twitching. I could go on but my ? Is why does the doctor say let's see how you progress .

If you wish feedback please start a forum thread. Your profile posts are not generally seen. If you are not formally diagnosed please post only on your own thread which should be on the could I have ALS subforum. People will want to know the results of your emgs as that is the most likely answer to your question
