Hi I also go to Vanderbilt and see Dr Donofrio. Just diagnosed with Progressive Muscular Atrophy. I thought that I had PLS. Foot drop, balance and muscle cramps in the ribs are currently my issues. I live near Gallatin, TN. Mark

Hi Nikki Yes, my dx was originally "some form of MND" back in 10/2014. Then last month, my doctor, Peter Donofrio at Vanderbilt Medical University, retested the EMG and reflexes and decided that I had Progressive Muscular Atrophy. This all started in 2012 with foot drop.

Not sure that anyone looks at this site based on the date of the last posting. But, I wanted to say hello
