  • Hey Sequoia!!! Many thanks for leaving a beautiful message on my wall - I do come online fairly regularly however, I'm quite mindful simply to read and learn. Through browsing I have naturally come across your posts and to me you are awesome - you have a heart of gold and quite often I wonder how you're doing. We had an lovely Christmas though as you will appreciate, it came and went far too quickly. It's the New Years Eve tomorrow night. We arent doing a lot but have invited my niece to stay over to keep my children company. My son Sam is 13 and my daughter Fern is 9 and they are gorgeous. I'll have to send yo piccies. They are so lovely. How was your Christmas? Sal xxx
Hi Sequoia: Thank you for your kind welcome! I do have a friend with ALS and I visit her often. We are both very spiritual and
practice gratitude everyday. Your posts are so uplifting and I know that my friend would love them! Thank you for the Happiness
Now thread, it is so inspiring and helps so many! BLESSINGS to you!
No it isn't acid reflux (already being treated for that). Thanks for the thought, Sharon!

Hi Sharon! Hope you had a lovely Christmas. Mine was very nice, I have just been a little out of sorts with all that has been going on since we got
Back from our trip. I know the Lord has a plan and I am waiting on him to make it all be known. So time keeps moving on and I wait for a word from him. There is so much peace in that! I pray that you have a blessed new year! Hugs, Joyce
I love you Sharon! I am so glad that your Christmas was wonderful. Have you felt any differently with the trial of meds that you are taking? I am at Dad's right now, and I have time to be online. He often frowns at me though because Dad is not sure if he likes me being online when he can think of other things for me to do for him. LOL I try to get everything caught up in the house and for him before I sit down. Reminds me of being a teenager when I used to sneak using the telephone. Even now if I am on the phone for what he considers too long...he gets upset at me. LOL Can you imagine it? LOL Have a blessed day! Did I tell you that I knew you were a nun before I read it here... LOL I just FELT it. It is amazing the connections that we all have. And I see that tall Redwood reaching up towards heaven in its beauty and majesty, and I felt that is why you call yourself Seqoia. Now I may be wrong... LOL But it just seemed appropriate to me. :)
    Love you... Kaye

Hey Sharon, Merry Christmas to you. You are one of my positive friends that always look at the good in every situation. We all learn from you, on a positive note. You glass is not only half full, but is always a little from the top no matter how empty it is. Sending an internet hug and a bottle of Eggnog and tons of love your way:)
Yes, write and tell me about Christmas!
It's Christmas Eve here, about two hours after sunset.
A Happy and Holy Christmas be yours Sharon.
    Hi Sharon,
This has not been a good 2 weeks…I loved them so much as you did. All we can do is gain from their walk with the Christ and press-on to follow Jesus at any cost. Thank you for praying and know that I pray for you as well.
Ah! That's the news I've been waiting for! I just logged on and was hoping to hear from you as I've not heard you say anything for a few days and I was hoping all was well. So glad that arrived, and I hope you find it useful. I understand the business; we have been absolutley stretched for weeks with our building project, family, birthdays, christmas and on and on. I find my capacity is just not what it was, and I guess you would find the same? But the Lord works none the less, and I think we arrive at the right point despite the rough ride. I realy think I should introduce you to my wife somehow, she is so into Christmas movies, especially the old ones. Every blessing.
You doing okay my Rose of Sharon? I always think of my Mothers roses when I think your name. You've been very quiet lately (understandably with all that's been going on) so I come to you for a hug now. Love you so much.
    Marta
