  • Susan, thank you for your post on pain management yesterday. I found it interesting because I've had no hint that the therapists at my (newly formed) clinic are knowledgeable about the splinting and working to tape joints. Although I don't yet need it, it's very good to know that there is that knowledge "out there somewhere". I will hope to ask them when I go the next time if they have learned about it... and hopefully that will either trigger them to learn or I'll find out I've underestimated them.

Again thank you. I'm very sorry to learn that you lost your father in July. So very sorry, Susan.

    Hi Susan,

Thank you for your message, you're right about my dad being positive it's hard to push him when that's how he wants to handle it. I am sorry to hear that your dad is suffering too from this shitty disease. My dad does however seem to listen to the professionals, like yours. I just find it hard that he won't talk about how he feels, it must affect him in some way, he just makes jokes or changes the subject but then that's how he handles it. Anyway I hope that you are okay and it's be good to stay in touch x
Hi Everyone, thanks for the messages. I am just finding my way around so sorry for the delay in responding. The Lyrica seems to be working so far, no increase in pain anyway.
Susan, how is your Daddy this morning? Tomorrow is my Daddy's 85th birthday!! He lives alone on the family farm where he was born. About all I need to do for him is cut his hair-he acts like he is in his 60's. hugs to you
