Do any of you get Dizzy, or motion sick now? I seem to have a problem if I'm in a crowd of people or riding in a car or flying in a plane. It just seems my body cant compensate for the motion any more I never had a problem with any of this before.
My diaphragm muscles are still ok, I just get out of breath and sweaty doing simple things. I am now in a wheel chair any time we go anywhere that needs more than 5 minutes of walking. I need to get a real wheel chair now not just the transfer chair.
I will ask about the medicine next time...
Wow its amazing how much work it is to take a shower shave and get dressed. By the time Im done with all that I need to sit down catch my breath and rest for a wile.
I was diagnosed with ALS. The group at the ALS department at Virgina Mason are the best. They are so awesome I could not ask for a better group of people, and Dr Elliot is the best.
Its been real hard at work this week when I tell people they cant believe it. some just cry and so do i. Nothing like a 6'1" 250 pound guy crying with another 6'4" 270 lb guy in a machine shop.
Well I start my last week of work tomorrow, I will retire on friday at the age of 39 and open a new door in my life. (im not looking forward to daytime TV) Good thing hunting season is here.
