Hi again, I bought the milk of magnesia today for constipation. Maybe this is a stupid question, how often should I take it. Every day? I usually only have a bowel movement every 3rd or 4th day normally. Also, I really want to read your comments on this and other problems. I do not know...

I have not been on this site for several years. Dr. tells me I am a turtle! I am having trouble finding where to put in a thread. Anyway, I really really want to thank all of your who replied to my problem. I am going out tomorrow to buy more pads and Milk of Magnesia. Thanks everyone.

My muscles started atrophing (sorry wrong spelling) with my foot and has progressed slowly up one leg to my bum. I am starting to have trouble with my bowels and bladder. Is this to be expected? What do you suggest to take daily, weekly?? for my bowels?

Is there anyone out there that has been diagnosed with Benign Focal Amyotrophy? It is ALS that should only affect one limb...ruby

Hi - I was told by my Dr. today that I do NOT have ALS - possibly PLS. As far as I can determine the only two differences is that PLS is slower advancing and secondly does not affect the diaphragm. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Ruby from Vancouver (surrey)

Thanks Al. I now know mine is "Sporadic limb onset". It is 4 1/2 yrs. and I have not been officially diagnosed. I only see the Dr. once a year so I am learning from this forum.............ruby from vancouver (surrey)
