  • Thanks for the info, I really appreciate that. So far I've seen the same neuro 3x, and I have another appointment in 2 weeks, she doesn't seem concerned at all about it being ALS. The fact that I've had on and off tingling/numbness and pain, most people say that leads to a nerve issue, and not ALS. I was fine with that theory and agree to an extent, it was the twitching that started a while ago that created my anxiety to return.
Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your brother and everything he is going through, he is fortunate to have a sister like you. If you don't mind, can I ask about his initial symptoms. Did he experience any type of tingling or numbness befor the twitching and weakness. In July I was diagnosed with ulnar nerve entrapment after having tingling in my fingers on both hands. Fast forward to September, I have on and off twitches in both arms and pain in my hands, especially around the thumb area. No weakness, but my hand does hurt when I'm holding things for an extended amount of time. Does this sound like anything your brother went through. Thanks for your time.
