Hi there, just saw your post. I'm so sorry about the losses. They are horrible aren't they! But just wanted to drop by to say wow isn't your mum doing well. I know comparisons are odious but my mum was diagnosed in nov 09 & mnd has eaten up most of her functions at this stage. Looking forward to cheering you on as you ride across Ireland. Avril

Hi R.. now I am the one who hasn't visited in a while. Hope you and your mom are doing OK today. I had to take a break from the forums for a while. Beth's death and trying to sort through my own relationship to this disease and what it has done to my mom kept me away from my nightly online reading. well thanx for the warm hello. where did you go to school in nyc. my oldes bro went to ny school of visual art. he still lives in queens hobnobbing with all his art friends and talking about their ideas of how gray is the new black -
