We had services today in our hometown which was only an hour drive for me.
The service was very nice.
The worst part of all of this is that I know my brother wanted to live. Maybe not at the end but before then he was adamant about going to the doctor and took all the prescribed medicines. Then this disease comes along, creeps up on him and takes his life at only 39.
The only real comfort I have is knowing that one day we'll all be together again.

I am so very sorry to hear about your brother. You were so concerned about him that I am sure you are taking all of this very hard. I pray his passing was peaceful . Are you going to make the trip or are they having services in your town? Geeze , Robert , this is just so sad and my heart breaks for you................I am so very sorry...................Cate
