  • Hi Ricky, thank you for posting your story. I am going through almost the same exact thing. Even the twitching starting after investigating ALS. Wanted to know how you’re doing now? Do you still get cramps and twitches? How’s your anxiety?
Hi Ricky. I have some similar concerns and questions as to what you have been worried about. How are you doing?

Type in “cramps, twitches and clonus” and you’ll see my threads. My “cramps” aren’t cramps as such, just a mild tightening of the feet. The nuero seemed confident they were exercise related and wasnt concerned. Seems like there are many causes and ALS is way way down on the list and seemingly always accompanied with weakness and atrophy. I paid to go private and it was worth it to put the months of worry to bed.

So happy for you! I think I’m also in a better place mentally. Best of luck to you! Stay healthy and never let this dreadful disease take hold of you again. Thanks so much for the response.

Thanks Terra, hopefully so. The main thing I’ve learned is to avoid googling symptoms and instead just listen to experts. My cramps and twitches have carried on for 3 months but I’m not worried about them anymore. Funnily enough they only appeared once I started reading about ALS, so I’m sure they’ll go now I’ve put the worry to bed!
